With the acceleration of modern industrial process, the conventional testing method of welding Parts table has been difficult to meet the requirements of industrial production, so the application of automation technology in welding parts table is an important direction for the development of welding inspection field. This paper systematically expounds the design scheme of the weld size and defect evaluation by CCD camera automatically collecting the surface image of welding parts to calculate the welding part table, and designs and develops the corresponding control system. At the same time, the system can be used to deal with the image of the welding parts. The experimental results show that the design scheme of the welding surface inspection system is feasible, the system can realize automatic measurement of welding parts table and weld size and realize the defect evaluation of the table, which has high practical application value.
Welding has been developed into an important manufacturing process, widely used in aerospace, metallurgy, petroleum, automotive manufacturing and national defense and other fields. In the welding products, the quality of the weld directly affects the length of service life of the product. Therefore, in the production process must be strictly in accordance with the design requirements to control weld size, as well as strict control of various types of defects. When measuring the weld surface size and evaluating the surface weld defects, the visual inspection method is one of the most commonly used methods in the industrial production inspection because of its advantages of flexibility and easy operation. At present, the measurement of weld size by visual inspection method is usually measured by means of magnifying glass, ruler, bite-edge measurer and so on, and the rating personnel should have strong professional knowledge and rich working experience in defect evaluation. At the same time, the influence of the workers ' workload, poor working environment and knowledge cognition on the visual inspection is the result of the decrease of the accuracy. Therefore, it is difficult to ensure the normative, objective and scientific results of the measurement results by visual inspection method. Therefore, how to reduce the influence of the above factors on the final result has become one of the hot topics in the field of welding workers. In recent years, with the progress of computer, white and pattern recognition, it also brings new development impetus to the inspection of weld appearance.
